Footwear since 1883

Wolverine >>> 1000 Mile Boot

The Wolverine 1000 Mile Collection is a new line of footwear, which has been inspired by Wolverine’s more than 125 years of making finely crafted comfortable boots and shoes.

The classic workwear company from Rockford, Michigan produces the 1000 mile boots in USA. As you can see from theirs history, the 1000 Mile Boot was originally made in the early 1900’s and was the boot that was lauded as giving you “1000 Miles of wear”, this boot changed the Wolverine brand and made it into what its know for today – beautifully crafted, comfortable and durable footwear that is timelessly fashionable.

Crafted with the same attention to detail found in the original, Wolverine’s new 1000 Mile Boot is the cornerstone of the collection. The first styles featuring top quality Horween Chromexcel® Leather, a stacked leather outsole and classic welt construction, have arrived at 14 oz. Berlin.

sak for Converse >>> Jack Purcell and One Star 1974

“I wanted to bring together the history of Florence and Converse’s legacy,” says Ryusaku Hiruma, designer and founder of sak.

Hiruma’s story is unique. Born in Japan, he has been pursuing age-old Italian craftsmanship in Florence, Italy for nearly a decade. Choosing to immerse himself in the historical home where Renaissance and industrial design have converged for centuries, Hiruma’s unique and modern sensibility blends with his unmistakable skill and artistry to create amazing styles for Converse.

Creating coveted versions of Converse’s most recognizable styles, Hiruma carefully replicates the silhouette of the Jack Purcell shoe in an off-white and the One Star 1974 in black, using old-world construction techniques.

Each shoe features supple leathers – all hand-stitched from upper and rand to insole. The attention to detail includes leather soles, ink printed logos, elegant hand-stitched toe bumpers, and charming touches such as a hand-cut star cut out gracing the ends of each shoe’s leather laces.

Truly works of art, these crafted masterpieces are produced in collaboration as a part of the Converse First String program, the brand’s most premium tier. Only 64 pairs of these exclusive styles from Ryusaku Hiruma are available worldwide.
