Buttero emerges from the sun beaten hills of Tuscany: the best traditions of Italian shoemaking refined into leather footwear of premium quality.

Named after Tuscany’s old-time cowboys, the Buttero brand is renowned around the world for its superior leather riding and casual boots. Handmade by craftsmen in Stabbia – Tuscany, the production company honors as of today the Tuscan recipe book with simple, honest, and quality local ingredients.

 

Founded in 1974 by Mauro Sani, who set out to make the best riding boots in the world,

Buttero remains owned and run by the Sani family. Buttero’s soul – and sole – is bound to Tuscany.

The footwear has and always will be made in this enchanted region of Italy.

Buttero uses only the best local vegetable-tanned leathers named Vachetta, which will age beautifully with usage, like the region’s famous wines.

14 oz. Berlin carries the sneakers Tanino from Buttero for men in a low and a highcut version and in various colours and fabrics such as leather, suede or canvas.

The sneakers strike with their anatomically shaped leather inner sole and the breathable leather uppers in combination with the seamed and vulcanised rubber outsole. Every pair comes with two sets of shoelaces - one from leather and one from cotton.
